Managing Committee

BD valideThe Parents’ Association of the French school of Shanghai is managed on a daily basis by the Managing Committee, commissioned by the General Assembly of members, in order to ensure daily management. The Managing Committee has all the authority needed to act on behalf of the Parents’ Association. This allows the school to run smoothly and to respect the statuses and the decisions of the ordinary and extraordinary general assemblies. The Managing Committee is composed of 6 up to 8 volunteers, elected for two years during the Annual General Assembly, and of 2 ex officio members: the Consul General and the Attaché for university cooperation. Moreover, the Managing Committee also includes guests such as the School Headmaster, the Head of primary school, the Deputy Headmaster, the COO, the CFO and the HRD.

The mission of the Managing Committee are as follows:

  • Allow the teachers to offer courses of high quality education
  • Be the legal representative in China
  • Be the employer of the teachers and the administrative staff of the school
  • Manage material resources and finances
